HerStory. how the brand was born.
Her Empowr is a Finnish feminist clothing brand that was born out of frustration with the ways women's and sexual minorities bodies and voices are often objectified and silenced in society. Founder Emilia was tired of hearing negative and disturbing comments about her own body and witnessing people behave in disrespectful and entitled ways towards women. She also wanted to address the pervasive problem of women being sexualized simply for wearing what makes them feel comfortable and confident. Through HerEmpowr, she found a way to channel her frustration and love for arts into something positive and empowering creating designs that speak to the strength and resilience of women everywhere.
HerEmpowr offers a unique collection of print designs inspired by feminism and designed to empower those whose voices are not heard in the society.
